Took a a good while to upload as the bandwidth was limited so I had to do it in portions, but it was there. We can automate the uploading porcess (with some timeout) and use just any crawler to generate the static htmls. If the free hosting sites provide direct FTP access - will be real fast, if it has to go through a panel depends on it - I will look into tripod and the pther sites and will let you know. Also to make it fast and more efficient, I think we'd better make lots of smaller sites, rather than several big ones - faster to upload , less prone to attract the attention of the webmasters and more efficient for crawling I think (as most free hostings sites have limit to the traffic and if google crawls too much we will be done with the quota in a week and will have to wait a month before the quota is renewed). | | |
